Diplome / Awards
Neben den SOTA Awards bieten wir ein nationales Diplomprogramm an. Um den Anreiz zur Aktivierung der Deutschen Alpen zu erhöhen und den damit verbundenen Aufwand zu würdigen, haben wir im Jahre 2009 unser eigenes SOTA-DL Diplomprogramm ins Leben gerufen. Manche Diplome sind leicht zu erwerben, andere hingegen sehr anspruchsvoll. Jeder findet hier seine persönliche Herausforderung! Alle Diplome werden elektonisch ausgestellt und sind kostenlos. Die Diplomanträge werden vom Diplom-Manager ehrenamtlich bearbeitet.
*** In addition to the SOTA Awards, we have a national award program. Some awards are easy to earn, while others are very challenging. Everyone will find their own challenge! All awards are issued electronically and are free of charge. The awards applications will be processed by the diploma manager on a voluntary basis.
GERMAN ALPS EXPLORER AWARD
GERMAN ALPS EXPLORER AWARD kann von Aktivierern wie auch von Jägern beantragt werden. Für dieses Diplom müssen alle 9 Alpenregionen aktiviert bzw. gearbeitet werden. Für Aktivierer – mindestens 27 verschiedene Berge und für Jäger – mindestens 54 verschiedene Berge laut der Tabelle müssen aktiviert bzw. gearbeitet werden.
*** The GERMAN ALPS EXPLORER AWARD will be issued to activators as well as to chasers. For this award, all nine regions of the German Alps have to be activated or chased. For activators activations of at least 27 different summits are necessary, chasers need QSOs with 54 different summits – as listed below.

GERMAN ALPS ADVENTURER AWARD
GERMAN ALPS ADVENTURER AWARD kann jedes Jahr nur von Aktivierern beantragt werden. Dieses Diplom ist als eine Erinnerung vor allem für unsere Gäste, Urlauber und gelegentliche Alpenaktivierer gedacht. Es müssen mindestens 6 verschiedene Berge in 2 Regionen innerhalb eines Kalenderjahres aktiviert werden, z.B. ein Berg alle zwei Monate.
*** Only activators can apply for the GERMAN ALPS ADVENTURER AWARD, which is mainly for our guests or occasional activators. You need activations of 6 unique summits, within two different regions of the German Alps, within one calendar year.
GERMAN ALPS CHALLENGER AWARD
GERMAN ALPS CHALLENGER AWARD kann von Aktivierern wie auch von Jägern beantragt werden. Hier gibt es 4 verschiedene Kategorien: CHALLENGER BRONZE, CHALLENGER SILVER und CHALLENGER GOLD, wobei entsprechend mindestens 100, 200 und 300 verschiedene Berge aktiviert bzw. gearbeitet werden müssen. Für den CHALLENGER PLATINUM Award müssen mindestens 400 verschiedene Gipfel in den Deutschen Alpen aktiviert bzw. gearbeitet werden. Die Grenzberge mit den österreichischen SOTA-Referenzen werden für das Diplom angerechnet.
*** The GERMAN ALPS CHALLENGER AWARD will be issued to activators as well as to chasers for activating / chasing a certain number of summits. The border mountains with the Austrian SOTA references will be credited towards the diploma. There are four different categories:
- CHALLENGER BRONZE – 100 unique summits with P150
- CHALLENGER SILVER – 200 unique summits with P150
- CHALLENGER GOLD – 300 unique summits with P150 and P100
- CHALLENGER PLATINUM – 400 unique summits with P150 and P100
GERMAN ALPS SKY WALKER & SKY CHASER AWARD
GERMAN ALPS SKY WALKER AWARD kann von Bergstürmern und GERMAN ALPS SKY CHASER AWARD kann von allen Jägern beantragt werden. Dafür müssen die höchsten Gipfel in jeder Region aktiviert bzw. gearbeitet werden.
*** For activating or chasing the highest summit in each of the nine regions, the GERMAN ALPS SKY WALKER AWARD will be issued to activators and the GERMAN ALPS SKY CHASER AWARD to chasers.

Bis Januar 2018 war der höchste Gipfel im DL/KW die Östliche Karwendelspitze, DL/KW-022. Aktivierungen dieses Gipfels zählen ebenfalls für die Diplome.
Allgemeine Diplomregeln / General Award Rules
Für das nationale Diplomprogramm gelten allgemeine SOTA Regeln (SOTA General Rules).
*** The SOTA General Rules are effective for the national award program.
Für das Diplomprogramm werden alle in der SOTA Datenbank aufgelisteten Berge gezählt. Die bestehenden Aktivierungen der gestrichenen Berge (bis zum Gültigkeitsdatum) werden rückwirkend anerkannt. Die Grenzberge mit den österreichischen SOTA-Referenzen werden für das Diplom angerechnet. Für die CHALLENGER GOLD und CHALLENGER PLATINUM Diplome sind Gipfel mit einer P100-Schartenhöhe zulässig, es müssen jedoch mindestens 200 Gipfel mit einer P150-Schartenhöhe bzw. das CHALLENGER SILVER Diplom erreicht werden.
*** All summits listed summits in the SOTA database count for the award program. All summits deleted effective until the validity date will also be recognized for the award. The border mountains with the Austrian SOTA references will be credited towards the award. For the CHALLENGER GOLD and CHALLENGER PLATINUM AWARDS, summits with a P100 prominence are permitted, but at least 200 peaks with a P150 prominence must be reached.
Alle eingereichten Aktivierungen und Logs müssen in die zentrale SOTA Datenbank (und ggfls. in die GMA Datenbank) eingepflegt werden, bevor ein Diplomantrag beim Diplomprogramm-Manager eingeht.
*** All submitted activations and logs have to be entered into the SOTA database before application is submitted to the award program manager.
Alle Betriebsarten und Bänder sind zugelassen. Es wird nicht zwischen Betriebsarten, KW und UKW unterschieden.
*** All modes and bands are allowed but both activators and chasers must operate within the terms of their licence. Generally, there is no difference among SW, VHF/UHF and SHF, and SSB, CW and FM etc.
Ein Verhalten gegen SOTA Regeln und HAM Spirit führt zum Ausschluss vom Diplomprogramm. Der Diplomprogramm-Manager ist jeder Zeit berechtigt, einen Nachweis (z.B. QSL, Bild, GPS-Track) für jede Aktivierung zu verlangen.
*** Any behavior contrary to the SOTA rules and HAM spirit will be penalized by a suspension from the program participation. The award program manager can ask to supply evidence for each activation (like QSL, pictures, GPS-tracks and etc.) at any time.
Die Diplome werden in elektronischer Form ausgestellt und per Email verschickt. Eine Liste der jeweiligen Diplomträger wird auf der Webseite der Assoziation veröffentlicht.
*** All awards will be issued in electronic form. In addition, the name of the applicant(s) will be published on the association website.
